Extensive Photography Training: Thank you for visiting my page and taking the time to get to know me a little better. Why you should chose me to photograph this very special moment? I have participated in online workshops and have gone through some intensive Creative Live Courses they include 28 Days with Sue Bryce, Bumps to Babies Photographing Motherhood with Sue Bryce and Kelly Brown, Newborn Photography Bootcamp with Kelly Brown, Portrait Photography Bootcamp with Lindsay Adler.
Most importantly I attended Ana Brandt's Workshop in May of 2016, and have been chosen to assist her in upcoming workshops. She is the proud owner of "The Art of Pregnancy and Newborn" as well as "Belly Baby Photography." In her workshop I learned the many different ways to light my subject as well as posing, styling, and safe handling of newborns. She is one of my mentors and has helped me grow in my photography journey.
My Career Background: I have an extensive career in Customer Service. I worked as a Store Manager for Starbucks for several years. When I relocated to Central New Jersey, I decided to change my career path; I worked for about many years for L'Oreal as an Account Specialist for their pharmaceutical brands servicing major drugstores, dermatologist, plastic surgeons and pharmacies. I currently hold a position as a Physical Flows Coordinator; needless to say I keep very busy.
A Little Bit of Me: As a mother of 2 beautiful and smart kids, I treasured all their special moments and try to show them all the fun great memories we have shared. I have always had a passion for photography; I minored in Studio Art Photography at SUNY Stony Brook. Being the first born, my parents captured all of my milestones. As a child I used to look back at our family images quite often, this helped me remember those wonderful moments our family shared. One of the most important gifts you can give your child is the gift of memories.
I chose to specialize in Maternity and Newborn because of my journey. After a long struggle with IVF, while handling my mother’s sickness, I was able to carry new life inside. I realized how fortunate women are to be able to conceive, it is a Blessing that needs to be celebrated and honored. The newborn stage is just as precious and it happens so quickly. Having the ability to photograph your newborn is a special way to freeze that moment in time. The best time to photograph a newborn is within 5-12 days of life or less than 10 pounds. When they are this young the baby tends to sleep a lot more and is flexible enough to hold positions. At the studio I create a very comfortable setting to remind the baby of the womb. Parents can rest while capture fun memories.
